Letterland

For the last 2 years my children have learnt, laughed and made friendships that span out of the Letterland community. We love it there and recommend the lovely teachers to anyone who is looking to introduce their children to a nurturing pre school reading readiness program. Laugh & Learn is part of our family and we will continue to play and learn our way with the lovely team into the future xxx

Not only has letterland classes taught my son about letters and sounds, but it has also prepared him for the classroom setting. He has learnt how to work independently, hold a pencil properly, follow instructions and his confidence has grown – as well as mine knowing that he will be ok starting school. He just loves Anne-Maree and her class is his favourite activity of the week. All the ladies at laugh and learn are so lovely, I will definitely be back when my youngest son is ready and look forward to being pleasantly surprised at how well he does too with the help of Laugh and Learn.

I honestly can’t recommend this enough. My twins LOVED it and it has helped their confidence when starting school as they already had a great level of phonetic awareness. Thanks again ?

Before starting Letterland my son had no interest in even holding a pencil or learning a word. Within weeks he was excited about the Letterland stories, which made learning feel more like fun, and he started to show a love for stories he hadn’t before. The year has made an incredible difference to him and he has blossomed under Tanya and Ann-Maree’s lessons. I cannot recommend Letterland enough for any child, of any ability, in the year before starting school.

My son is able to sound out letters and read words and he enjoyed attending Letterland. We are very grateful to both Tanya and Ann Marie who are both wonderful teachers.

This is an excellent program. Our daughter went through this program and is now thriving in kindergarten. She’s reading at year 2 level now in large part because of the head start that she gained here.

Our son also attends this program now and loves it. Not only is he learning how to read in a fun and engaging classroom, he is also learning those basic classroom skills that he needs before entering kindergarten like sitting still whilst the teacher talks, concentrating on tasks, taking turns, listening skills etc

Thank you Tanya and Anne-Maree for making learning the alphabet so much fun! I have watched my sons confidence grow and we both love coming to our letterland class.

We’ve had two kids come through Letterland and it’s such a thorough and fun introduction to reading and writing. The kids love it, and it’s mind blowing watching the progress through the year and being able to read at the end. And also gives parents great tips on how to encourage the learning at home. It gives them great confidence going into big school.

I have now done this program with two of my children the year before they started school. It is an unbelievably great foundation program that helps with phonics, writing and sounds, and both boys finish being able to read words and understanding word formation. I can not recommend letterland highly enough, it just makes the transition to school so much easier. Tanya and Ann Marie are absolutely amazing and the kids LOVE their classes.

Tanya and Anne-Maree were incredible teachers that made learning really fun in a small group environment.

Such a brilliant learning step for my son, in preparation for starting Kindy in 2021! His understanding of the alphabet is so much more thorough and both Tanya & Anne-Maree were incredible in helping my son along the way. This course was recommended to us and I can’t recommend this highly enough! Huge huge thanks for your encouraging support this year; one filled with plenty of challenges as well!

My daughter loves attending Letterland every week. It’s a fabulous school readiness programme that has assisted her with word building, reading & writing. Tanya & Anne Marie who take the class have been just wonderful! Letterland has definitely given her an advantage & I’m confidant she will be a step ahead at Primary school next year.

My four year old son started letterland this year. It has been the best preparation for Primary school. It has helped with his confidence, reading, writing and pronunciation. I wish I had done it with my other two older children.

My boy loves this class, and I am comforted that he is learning and interacting with other children preparing him for big school.
