Description
The Grapat Coloured Spools encourages children to create logical mathematical relationships from sorting and counting the different shapes and colours of each piece. It also gives children the chance to combine open ended play while at the same time strengthening their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination by stacking and constructing towers, threading the spools to create patterns and necklaces or combining them with other toys to build on their imagination.
The Grapat Coloured Spools set includes 36 wooden spools in six different rainbow colours in 3 different shapes with included Grapat cloth bag and gift box. Spools measure 4.5 cm in height and diameter.
Grapat toys are all handmade with love from almost all locally sourced materials and subject to nature making every piece unique. Every part of each toy has been considered from the dimensions of the toy, to the shape or form, the thickness of the wood and the colour.
